Saturday 17th March 2024. 10:30am. Meet in the car park by ENPA offices for a walk in Burridge Woods. Leader: Ruth Hyett. Burridge Wood is at grid reference SS912285. Most of the woodland forms part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), designated for its important wildlife including rare lichens which thrive in the clean, moist air, as well as woodland bird species such as pied flycatchers. | |
