Andrew May (and family) of Lynton  has sent in his photos and information of the rare tooth fungus, Hericium cirrhatum (Tiered Tooth) on Exmoor

see above  Scarletina Bolete, Boletus luridiformis var luridiformis (photo Exmoor Fungi) is a spectacular pored fungus which blues dramatically upon cutting. This was demonstrated at the ENHS Fungus Foray 2023.

2023 Hair Ice found on Wootton Courtenay Common by Christian Busby.  The phenomenon is caused by the presence of Exidiopsis effusa under specific weather conditions of low temperature and high humidity. Not often seen.

Jane Maurice found something of interest on North Hill and I checked it out with her and identified it as being the Violet Webcap, Cortinarius violaceus. Pictures taken by S. Parry and unedited (natural colours)
